With 150+ million members having an average annual household income of over $107,000, and over 50% of the members are decision-makers - if you aren't using LinkedIn as a business development tool, or wonder what else you should be doing with it, then this workshop is for you!
This workshop is about going beyond the profile: how to make the real connections that can make your business development efforts successful; how to show off your expertise without looking like show-off; and how to nurture relationships along the way so that you become much more than a networker - you become a connector!
The workshop will teach you how to use LinkedIn for Business Development, and will help you and your team to:
- Take your online networking beyond the connection request
- Educate the LinkedIn community at large about you and your expertise
- Use LinkedIn Applications to help you use your profile as a marketing tool
- Identify who you want to connect with and learn how to get connected
- 3 things you can do every day to support your business development activities on LinkedIn

The workshop is intended to be "hands-on" and participants are asked to bring a laptop so they can practice what they learn. Questions and attendee participation is encouraged!

Instructor Bio
Charlene Burke is CEO of Search by Burke, LLC, a full service online marketing agency that focuses on helping their clients create, develop and maintain their online presence to increase sales. Website creation and development, email marketing campaigns, SEO (local, regional, national and international), PPC Campaign management, Social Media Marketing, and more. Search by Burke also conducts research for their clients that includes company, industry, competitive and market research to support the clients’ business goals.
Charlene is a partner at Online Marketing Pros and teaches online marketing, social media and ‘searching the internet' classes to professionals, corporate groups, and marketing teams. She co-hosts a BlogTalkRadio program every Monday morning for Online Marketing Pros.

Cancellation/refund policy:
Participants may cancel by March 31, 2012, for a full refund. Cancellations received between March 31, 2012 and April 18, 2012 will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations after April 18, 2012 cannot be refunded. In the unlikely event that the workshop does not reach minimum enrollment levels, the workshop may be cancelled. If the workshop is cancelled, participants will be notified and will be issued a full refund.
